By accessing or using the Security Compliance Academy website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.

Course Registration and Payment
Registration
- All course registrations must be completed through our official website.
- You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
- Registration is not confirmed until payment is processed and you receive a confirmation email.
Payment
- All fees are due at the time of registration unless other arrangements have been made.
- Prices are subject to change without notice, but changes will not affect already confirmed registrations.
- We accept credit/debit cards and other payment methods as indicated on our website.
- All transactions are processed through secure payment gateways.
Corporate Accounts
- Security companies may establish corporate accounts for group registrations.
- Corporate accounts may be eligible for discounted rates.
- Payment terms for corporate accounts will be established by separate agreement.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Individual Registrations
- Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the course start time are eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations made within 72 hours of the course start time may be subject to a rescheduling fee.
- No-shows are not eligible for refunds.
Rescheduling
- Course dates may be rescheduled up to 24 hours before the original course start time without penalty.
- Rescheduling within 24 hours of the course start time may incur a fee.
Course Cancellations by Security Compliance Academy
- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule courses due to insufficient enrollment, instructor illness, or other circumstances.
- In the event of cancellation by Security Compliance Academy, students will receive a full refund or may transfer to another course date.
Attendance and Certification
Attendance Requirements
- Full attendance is required for all NC PPSB-mandated training hours.
- Students must be visibly present and actively participating in all sessions.
- For virtual training, students must maintain video presence throughout the course.
Certification
- Certificates will be issued only upon successful completion of the entire course.
- Security Compliance Academy does not guarantee that completion of our courses will result in employment or licensure.
- Certificates are issued in accordance with NC PPSB requirements.
Intellectual Property
Course Materials
- All course materials, including handouts, presentations, and digital resources, are the intellectual property of Security Compliance Academy.
- Materials may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without written permission.
- Students may download and use materials for personal educational purposes only.
Website Content
- All content on our website is the property of Security Compliance Academy unless otherwise stated.
- Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited.
User Conduct
Website Usage
- You agree not to use our website for any unlawful purpose or in any way that might damage or disable the site.

During Training
- Students must conduct themselves professionally during training.
- Disruptive behavior, harassment, or inappropriate conduct may result in dismissal without refund.
- For virtual training, appropriate professional attire and setting are required.
Limitation of Liability
- Security Compliance Academy is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
- Our liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant course.
- We do not guarantee employment, licensure, or specific outcomes from our training.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Security Compliance Academy, its instructors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of our website or services.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the modified terms.
Severability
