Course Overview North Carolina law requires all new security guards to complete at least 4 hours of training before being placed at any duty station. This session covers: The Security Officer in North Carolina (1 Hour) Legal Issues for Security Officers (3 Hours) Important: You Must Complete the Remaining 12 Hours Within 30 Days After this session, NC law requires you to complete the remaining 12 hours within 30 days of your hire date. The completion course runs across two days on the first Monday and Tuesday of each month: First Monday: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM (4 hours) First Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (8 hours) Your remaining balance of $110.00 is due at that time.
